The PowerBass XMA-2200IR is a 2-channel mini amplifier series engineered for vehicles where space for traditional amplifiers is limited. Utilizing full-range Class D technology and an International Rectifier (IR) platform, this unit delivers high-efficiency operation—exceeding 85%—while maintaining a compact footprint of 7.6" x 7.1" x 2.0". The amplifier features a double-sided copper-plated PCB, PWM MOSFET power supply, and digital sound optimization circuitry to ensure reliable performance. User-adjustable controls include 40-click variable detente high/low pass electronic crossovers and a switchable 0/12/18 dB bass boost at 45 Hz. It is 2-ohm stable in stereo and includes protection circuitry against impedance overload, speaker shorts, thermal overheating, and DC output. Installation is facilitated by auto turn on/off capabilities and balanced RCA inputs that are speaker-level compatible. This amplifier provides 100 watts x 2 at 4 ohms or 200 watts x 2 at 4 ohms, with a frequency response range of 10 Hz to 40 kHz, making it a versatile solution for powering various mobile audio configurations.
