Description

The PowerBass ALC-2 is a premium 2-channel Line Output Converter (LOC) and Line Driver. Beyond simple conversion, the ALC-2 also functions as a line driver, boosting the output voltage up to 13Vrms. This ensures a strong, clean signal is delivered to your amplifier inputs, preventing any potential gain loss and maintaining audio fidelity. The unit features both front/rear high-level inputs and front/rear variable gain controls, along with front/rear RCA low-level outputs for flexible integration. Key features of the ALC-2 include an LED clipping indicator to help you set optimal levels, auto turn-on circuitry for seamless operation, and a robust design. Its specifications include a frequency response of 10Hz-100KHz +/-3dB, a total harmonic distortion of less than 0.4%, and a signal-to-noise ratio of 94dB. The device operates on a PWM DC/DC power supply and has a low current draw of 150mA, requiring a recommended 1-amp fuse. The compact chassis measures 4.4" x 2.3" x 1.1".
