The Skar Audio SKAR2CH-LOC is a 2-channel speaker wire to RCA line-out converter designed to seamlessly integrate aftermarket amplifiers with factory or OEM head units. This device effectively transforms a speaker-level output signal from your car's stereo into a clean RCA preamp-level signal, essential for connecting amplifiers that do not have high-level inputs. Engineered for broad compatibility, the SKAR2CH-LOC works with OEM radios, aftermarket radios, and smart radios. It accepts an input signal of up to 55 Watts at 16 volts, ensuring it can handle a significant range of factory audio outputs. The converter boasts a flat frequency response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz across all volume levels, preserving audio fidelity. It also applies a 60-ohm load to each channel to prevent open-circuit issues in some factory systems, and provides RCA outputs capable of delivering up to 8 Volts RMS. With compact dimensions of 1.50" W x 2.00" D x 1.00" H, the SKAR2CH-LOC is easy to install in tight spaces within a vehicle's dashboard or under a seat.
