Description

The Genuine BMW intake manifold is a direct replacement for your vehicle's original component, ensuring precise fitment and performance. This manifold is crucial for distributing the air-fuel mixture to the engine's cylinders and features two DISA valves that actively control airflow to optimize power and throttle response. Common failure symptoms include engine misfires, rough idle, coolant or vacuum leaks, and a Check Engine Light, all stemming from uneven air delivery or leaks within the manifold. This particular intake manifold is a popular upgrade for lower-power N52 engines, often referred to as a 3-stage manifold. By upgrading to this component, you can enhance the output of these engines. The N52 engine platform is compatible with this manifold, and some sources suggest it can add up to 42hp after an ECU flash. Compatibility is extensive, including models such as the 128i, 328i, 328i xDrive, 328xi, 330i, 330xi, 530i, 530xi, X3, X5, and Z4, across various model years from 2006-2013. However, specific notes indicate that for certain 2006 models (330i, 330xi, 530i, 530xi, Z4 Coupe/Roadster 3.0si), production dates prior to October 2005 may also require part number 11617559530.
