As MK4 vehicles age and their original components begin to show wear, this kit offers a robust upgrade. It directly replaces leak-prone OEM fittings and addresses potential bottlenecks in the factory setup. The kit's primary improvements focus on three key areas: hoses, clamps, and pipes. The included hoses are constructed from 5-ply silicone rubber, offering increased rigidity to prevent boost leaks and minimize expansion under pressure. This reduction in hose expansion allows the turbocharger to operate more efficiently, leading to improved throttle response and reduced lag. The discharge pipe itself is replaced with a smoother-flowing T304 stainless steel component. This design overcomes the chokepoint typically found where the factory system transitions from a circular tube to a flat pipe, ensuring a more consistent and unimpeded flow of air. Furthermore, the kit replaces the OEM O-ring clamp system with strengthened stainless steel T-bolt clamps.
