2-in-1 Charge Pipe for S58 Engine

The FTP Motorsport 2-in-1 Charge Pipe is engineered as a direct replacement for the factory plastic y-pipe found on S58-equipped BMW models. The stock plastic component is prone to cracking over time due to internal pressure and repeated heat cycles, leading to common issues like boost leaks, check engine lights, and overall poor engine performance. Constructed from aerodynamic 6061 aluminum, this upgraded charge pipe provides a significant boost in reliability by eliminating the OEM failure point. This ensures consistent performance and prevents unintended boost loss. Beyond reliability, the smoother internal airflow facilitated by the aluminum construction contributes to improved throttle response and a measurable increase in power. This charge pipe is compatible with a range of BMW models featuring the S58 engine, including the G87 M2 (2023+), G80 M3 (2021+), G82/G83 M4 (2021+), F97 X3M (2020+), and F98 X4M (2020+). It replaces BMW part number 13718054842. An upgraded charge-air pipe set is also available separately. It has not been evaluated or tested for emissions compliance and may not be legal for use in California or other regions governed by CARB regulations for aftermarket parts.
