The JEGS 78715 Dual Cowl Induction Hood is a direct replacement upgrade for select 1999-2006 Chevrolet Truck, Suburban, and Tahoe vehicles. Constructed from durable 22-gauge steel with a black EDP coating, this hood features a 2-inch dual cowl design. This design significantly improves engine bay clearance, which is beneficial for accommodating larger intake systems, carburetors, or other engine modifications. The increased space facilitates greater airflow and opens up more options for engine tuning and performance enhancements. The hood is engineered as a precision upgrade for the specified GM trucks. This cowl induction hood fits select 1999-2006 Chevrolet Truck, Suburban, and Tahoe models. However, it is important to note that this hood will not fit the 2001-2002 Chevy 2500HD or 3500HD models.
