The Classic Performance Products Front/Rear Disc Kit provides a comprehensive solution for upgrading your classic car's braking system. This kit includes all components needed for a direct-fit installation, such as a 5x4.75 power brake booster, 2-inch drop spindles for a lowered stance and improved performance, and an adapter kit to seamlessly integrate the booster with your existing firewall. A proportioning valve is included to ensure balanced braking, making this an ideal choice for classic car restorations. The system features plain, vented rotors (11-inch front and rear) and cast iron calipers with single pistons. The drop spindles are made from ductile iron, while the master cylinder is cast iron. The kit comes with rubber brake hoses and includes the necessary front and rear disc brake line conversion components. A gold-finished vacuum booster and cast iron master cylinder are part of the package, with options for different booster sizes and finishes available. This kit is specifically designed for the 1968-1969 F Body and 1968-1974 X Body platforms, ensuring proper fitment and function for these classic vehicles. The inclusion of drop spindles offers both aesthetic enhancement and potential performance benefits by lowering the vehicle's center of gravity.
