The Terrafirma TF516 front spring spacers are designed to provide a 2-inch (50mm) lift to your vehicle's suspension. This simple bolt-on modification increases body clearance, which is beneficial for fitting larger tires and improving off-road capability. The spacers install between the coil spring and the axle, offering a straightforward solution for achieving a desired ride height, especially when the vehicle's load capacity is pushed by heavy equipment. Constructed with zinc plating for durability, these spacers are sold as a pair and include all necessary bolts for installation. The TF516 is specifically engineered for fitment on the Land Rover Defender, Discovery 1, and Range Rover Classic models. When installing these spacers, it is important to note that additional components like bump stop spacers (TF515) or extended bump stops (GAL146R or GAL147R) may be required. These are necessary to prevent the coil spring from becoming coil-bound (fully compressed) during full suspension compression, ensuring proper operation and preventing damage.
