The BDS Suspension BDS313FS is a 2-inch leveling suspension kit engineered to enhance the stance, performance, and capability of your 1999-2004 Ford F250 and F350 Super Duty truck. This kit is designed to provide increased clearance, allowing for the fitment of up to 33-inch tires. Up front, the kit features BDS's Glide-Ride leaf springs, designed with a multi-leaf progressive spring rate for a smooth ride under various loads. This design offers flexibility and increased wheel travel. The kit also includes a track bar relocation bracket to ensure proper steering geometry, extended sway bar links, and custom-tuned, nitrogen-charged shocks. In the rear, the kit utilizes matching NX2 Nitro or FOX Performance shocks. Installation is rated as moderate and is estimated to take 8 hours. It is important to note that these trucks were manufactured with two different styles of front u-bolts. Buyers must confirm whether their front leaf spring u-bolts are square or have a gentle radius before ordering. Additionally, this kit will not fit vehicles manufactured before March 1, 1999. The stock Super Duty trucks came with rear blocks of 2, 3, or 4 inches, and adjustments to these blocks or u-bolts may be necessary to achieve a level stance. Certain part numbers (#003202, #003402, #003602, #003609, #003802, and #003809) come with OE rubber bushings pre-installed.
