The DEI Titanium exhaust wrap is a 2-inch by 15-foot roll designed for heat protection. It is made from pulverized lava rock stranded into a fiber material and woven into a proprietary diagonal weave. This wrap can withstand direct heat up to 1800°F and intermittent heat up to 2500°F.

The DEI Titanium exhaust wrap is a 2-inch by 15-foot roll crafted from pulverized lava rock, stranded into a fiber material, and woven into a proprietary diagonal weave. This heat wrap is resistant to chemical oil spills and vibration breakdown, securing tightly once applied. It boasts impressive thermal capabilities, withstanding direct heat up to 1800°F and intermittent heat up to 2500°F. The material also promotes increased flow for improved performance and reduces temperature and vibration breakdown, contributing to a more reliable exhaust system. Its unique construction provides a hi-tech carbon fiber look. For this reason, avoid wrapping any flex-pipes or flex-joints. DEI also explicitly does NOT recommend wrapping exhausts made of titanium, as it can hold in too much heat, making the alloy brittle and prone to cracking; alternatives like flexible heat shields are suggested for titanium systems. Wrapping of catalytic converters is also not recommended due to potential overheating and reduced lifetime.
