2" Longtube Headers

The Speed Engineering Truck & SUV 2" Longtube Headers are designed for V8 engines, specifically 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L displacements, offering a significant performance upgrade. Constructed from premium 304 stainless steel, these headers boast mandrel-bent tubing for optimal exhaust flow and are meticulously tig welded for enhanced durability and a polished stainless steel finish. These headers feature 2" primaries that transition into a 3" collector, designed to maximize exhaust scavenging and improve engine performance. The CNC machined flanges ensure a precise fit and a secure seal. This product is a race-only component intended solely for competition purposes and may not be used, registered, or licensed for use on public roads or highways, adhering to environmental regulations. Vehicle applications include 1999-2006 Chevrolet and GMC Trucks & SUVs (2WD & 4WD), as well as 2002-2006 Cadillac Trucks & SUVs (2WD & 4WD) and 2002-2006 Chevrolet Avalanches (2WD & 4WD). A revised Y-pipe is available, compatible with 4L60E and 4L80E transmissions, and offers increased clearance for 4WD vehicles. It is important to note that if installing with a larger 4L80E transmission, the bellhousing ears may require trimming for proper fitment. Additionally, earlier 2500 models might experience fitment issues due to chassis design variations from previous years.
