The AudioControl EPICFOUR is a 4-channel amplifier that provides exceptional sound quality in a compact and thermally efficient design. It utilizes a high-current Class D architecture, making it 2-ohm stable to maximize power output without sacrificing efficiency. This amplifier is built with a smart auto-reset protection circuit, safeguarding it against potential issues. It features solid power and speaker terminals secured by hex screws for reliable connections. Key specifications include 4 x 100 Watts RMS at 4 ohms, 4 x 200 Watts RMS at 2 ohms, and 2 x 400 Watts RMS bridged at 4 ohms, delivering a total of 800W RMS. The amplifier supports a 4 AWG power and ground wire gauge and an 8 AWG speaker terminal wire gauge for optimal current flow. It also includes a 12 dB/octave Linkwitz-Riley variable high-pass filter with a frequency range of 50 Hz to 500 Hz, and line-level inputs ranging from 500mV to 12V RMS.
