The calipers are constructed from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength and superior corrosion resistance. Inside, aluminum pistons provide improved heat management and reliable performance. The rear big brake systems utilize either 2-piston or 4-piston lightweight aluminum calipers, with the 4-piston variant standard on 13" and 14" systems. Ksport's caliper design inherently improves pad wear and increases rigidity compared to stock components. The kit also includes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets that facilitate direct bolt-on installation to the OEM caliper bracket locations, accommodating the larger caliper size. Featuring two-piece rotors, the Procomp system offers a lightweight solution that delivers fade-free performance and consistent grip on the track, while maintaining comfortable operation for daily driving. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled rotors are better suited for daily-driven vehicles due to cooler operating temperatures. The kit comes standard with NAOC Ceramic SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal braking for street and occasional track use, significantly reducing brake dust and noise while minimizing rotor wear. DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, enhancing pedal response and feel by preventing line expansion under pressure.
