2-Piece Brake Rotor

The Paragon Performance 2-Piece Brake Rotors are designed for drivers seeking exceptional braking performance on both the street and track. Utilizing motorsport-inspired technology, these rotors provide consistent stopping power, enhanced cooling efficiency, and superior durability during demanding driving conditions. They are an ideal upgrade for those transitioning from factory brakes or preparing for serious track use, delivering the performance, reliability, and control expected by enthusiasts. Each rotor ring is constructed from CM-250 high-carbon alloy cast iron, chosen for its excellent bite, thermal stability, and resistance to cracking under extreme heat. The rings undergo heat treatment to relieve internal stress and are precision CBN-machined to ensure a smooth surface for faster and more consistent brake pad bed-in. The fully-floating 2-piece design permits the rotor ring to expand during extreme heat cycles, which helps to minimize distortion and maintain consistent pad contact, thereby reducing brake fade and judder during extended use. Paragon ensures high-precision manufacturing with tight tolerances, including ≤0.03mm lateral runout and ≤2g weight variation, which contribute to reduced vibration and smoother, more consistent braking performance. The rotors feature a fully-floating 2-piece design and utilize a D-Bobbin (12 bolt) rotor-to-hat mounting system. The lightweight hat is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum for strength and weight reduction, and finished with a Mil-Spec Type III hard anodized coating (available in clear or black) for superior wear and corrosion resistance. They are compatible with OEM brake pads or aftermarket pads of the same depth (D). Each rotor weighs 35.8 lbs (16.2 kg).
