The kit features an extremely lightweight, one-piece caliper CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet, weighing just over 5lbs. It boasts a differential bore configuration, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM components, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Ksport employs a 2-piece disc assembly to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. For extreme heat conditions, many applications include a floating disc option to prevent warping. The rotors are available with a unique slot design that reduces braking noise and expels gas and debris more effectively, or as cross-drilled rotors recommended for daily driving due to cooler operation. All rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Slotted rotors are recommended for track use.
