2-Piece Disc Brake Kit

This advanced system integrates new brake technology to substantially reduce brake fade and actively cool the brake pads during operation, ensuring consistent performance. The one-piece caliper is CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet, resulting in an extreme lightweight design (just over 5 lbs) with integrated protection grooves. It features an opposed piston configuration, which enhances both pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs. Standard features on each caliper include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The kit incorporates a 2-piece disc assembly to minimize both rotating and unsprung weight. Many applications offer a floating disc option to mitigate thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing warping of the disc or cupping of the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor effectively reduces braking noise and more rapidly expels gas and pad debris than conventional designs. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced prior to shipment to ensure optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors offer cooler operation than slotted rotors and are recommended for daily-driven vehicles, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use.
