The centerpiece of this kit is an extremely lightweight, one-piece caliper, CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet. Weighing just over 5 lbs., it features differential bore configuration, integrated protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances both pad wear and overall caliper rigidity compared to OEM components. Ksport employs a 2-piece disc assembly, which effectively reduces both rotating and unsprung mass, contributing to improved vehicle dynamics. For applications prone to extreme heat, a floating disc option is available to mitigate thermal stress and prevent disc warping or cupping. The rotors feature a unique slot design that minimizes braking noise while efficiently expelling gas and pad debris. Each rotor is meticulously heat-treated and balanced for peak performance. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for enhanced cooling, while slotted rotors are ideal for those with more frequent track use.
