2-Piece Floating Brake Rotor

The Ksport BKMZ014-652CO is a high-performance 2-piece floating brake rotor designed for Ksport's SuperComp Big Brake Kit caliper systems, compatible with 4, 6, or 8 piston configurations. This rotor significantly enhances stopping power over OEM components by incorporating advanced thermal management technology to combat brake fade and maintain optimal braking surface temperatures. The floating 2-piece rotor design features a full-floating outer disc that allows for slight shifts, promoting caliper self-centering and reducing brake drag. The floating design prevents thermal stresses from warping the disc and reduces vibration at higher speeds due to heat-induced expansion. Rotor surfaces are available in Cross Drilled or Slotted styles. The Cross Drilled option runs cooler and is ideal for daily drivers, while the Slotted option is recommended for track and performance applications due to its unique slot design that expels gas and pad debris faster. Each rotor is heat-treated, precision balanced, and compatible with Ksport SC5 street ceramic pads and RC5 carbon metallic race pads. This rear rotor is compatible with Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit systems and includes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets for bolt-on installation at the OEM caliper mounting location. It is also compatible with D.O.T.-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines for improved pedal feel and response, and OEM ABS systems remain fully functional.
