2-Piece Floating Disc Assembly with Opposed Piston Caliper

The KSport Supercomp Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade in stopping power for your vehicle. Engineered with advanced brake technology, this kit aims to drastically reduce brake fade and continuously cool and refresh the brake pad surface during braking. The SuperComp caliper is forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, featuring a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than KSport's ProComp calipers. It incorporates protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while the stainless steel brake lines resist expansion under pressure. Due to the caliper's size, four brake pads are standard per caliper. The 2-piece floating disc assembly reduces rotating and unsprung weight, and it mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more effectively. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are suggested for track use. This kit is made to order and is non-refundable. It is designed for the BMW 3 Series E9X (2006-2012) models including the 325i, 325xi, 328i, 328xi, and 330i with N52 3.0L engines.
