The Supercomp caliper is extremely lightweight, weighing just over 7 lbs each, and includes protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly which reduces rotating and unsprung weight, and prevents thermal stresses from warping the disc. Rotors are available in cross-drilled (recommended for daily drivers) or slotted (recommended for track use) designs, both heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Unique slot designs expel gas and pad debris faster than conventional designs, and help reduce braking noise. The included NAOC Ceramic pads offer optimal braking under street and occasional track conditions, reducing dust by 50% or more compared to race pads, while minimizing noise and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, preventing expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel.
