2-Piece Floating Disc Rotor Assembly

Integrating advanced brake technology, these kits significantly reduce brake fade and continually cool and refresh the brake pad surface during braking. The SuperComp caliper is extremely lightweight, weighing just over 7lbs, and features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers. Machined from aircraft-quality billet, it includes machined protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features on each caliper include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs. Stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure, and the SuperComp systems come standard with a 2-piece floating disc assembly. This assembly reduces both rotating and unsprung weight, and prevents thermal stresses from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface. The rotors feature a unique slot design that reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more efficiently than conventional designs. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Ksport offers two rotor options: cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily-driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler, and slotted rotors, recommended for vehicles with more track use.
