The 034Motorsport 375x34mm 2-Piece Floating Front Brake Rotor Upgrade is a comprehensive kit designed to replace your factory front rotors and caliper carriers, ensuring seamless integration with your existing front calipers. Each rotor weighs approximately 26.0lbs, offering a rotational weight reduction of 1.3lbs per corner compared to the factory 27.3lb rotors. The diameter is also increased from 357mm to 375mm, contributing to greater stopping power. The rotor rings retain adequate thermal mass for heat capture and dissipation, supported by 72 directionally curved vanes that actively channel cool air through the rotors. The central hat is constructed from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, while the disc is made from a proprietary metal alloy capable of withstanding extreme braking temperatures without deforming. The floating mount system employs high-strength alloy steel bobbins, allowing for controlled expansion and contraction due to heat while maintaining axial and radial float between the hat and disc. This design contributes to lower long-term maintenance costs due to the replaceable rotor rings. These rotors fit under most 18" wheel designs, though 18" wheels are noted as a tight fit, and users are advised to confirm clearance between the caliper/bracket and the wheel before driving. Modifications to the caliper or bracket to achieve fitment are not recommended. The product is available with blue carriers for the MK8 Golf R and red carriers for the Audi 8Y S3. NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) levels are rated as None-Low, with sounds from the rotors attributed to performance improvements like gas release and air movement.
