Overview

The GiroDisc 2-piece rotors are a direct replacement for the front rotors on the Toyota GR Corolla and Yaris. These fully floating assemblies reduce unsprung weight and rotating mass. The rotor rings are machined from a proprietary high-carbon iron casting, and the 48 curved vanes function as a centrifugal pump for effective cooling under hard use. The reusable hat is made from 6061-T6 aluminum with a black anodize finish, and drive pins are a high-strength steel alloy with cadmium plating.

The GiroDisc 2-piece rotors are designed as a direct replacement for the front rotors on the Toyota GR Corolla and Yaris. The rotor rings are constructed from a proprietary high-carbon iron casting, formulated to GiroDisc's specifications for superior durability. Internally, 48 curved vanes act as a centrifugal pump, drawing air through the hub to efficiently cool the rotors during demanding driving conditions. The hats are manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished with a black anodize for corrosion resistance and aesthetics. The drive pins, made from a high-strength steel alloy, are cadmium-plated to prevent rust. These rotors are assembled with spring clips and Belleville washers, providing race-ready float while maintaining street-friendly operation without noise. The recommended minimum thickness for replacing the rotor rings is 26mm, or if a crack extends to the edge of the ring.
