The Ksport Procomp Front Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade in stopping power, designed as a sophisticated bolt-on solution for enhanced braking performance, especially under sustained high-heat conditions. This kit features 1-piece forged aluminum calipers, constructed from a solid billet of aerospace-grade aluminum for superior strength, lightweight design, and corrosion resistance. The calipers utilize aluminum pistons with heavy-duty seals capable of handling racetrack temperatures, ensuring smooth operation and preventing drag. An opposed-piston design guarantees consistent brake pad grip and wear. The 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum center sections reduce rotational mass for quicker stopping response and act as effective heat sinks. The two-piece design allows the rotor sections to expand and contract independently, greatly reducing the risk of warping due to heat buildup. Standard SC5 Street Pads are included, offering optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. Included are D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Customization options for caliper color, including various standard and premium high-polish finishes, as well as custom color options, are available. Center bell upgrades, such as Titanium Center Bell and Hardware or Twin Color Anodized Center Bells, can further personalize the brake system.
