The Girodisc A1-277 is a 2-piece slotted brake rotor designed as a direct replacement for OE discs. No modifications are necessary, as it bolts directly to the vehicle and works perfectly with OE calipers.

The Girodisc A1-277 is a 2-piece slotted brake rotor designed as a direct replacement for OE discs, requiring no modifications and bolting directly to your vehicle to work with OE calipers. The central hat section of this rotor is constructed from U.S. sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc itself is made from Girodisc's proprietary cast iron, poured and machined in the USA. A floating mount system connects the rotor and hat using high-strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured and cadmium-plated in the USA for corrosion resistance. These drive pins manage braking loads while allowing for axial and radial float between the hat and disc. Grade 12 cap screws with hardened washers secure the pins. Anti-noise spring washers are incorporated on the rotor side to prevent cold-weather rattle and noise, while allowing for thermal expansion and ensuring the rotor self-centers between the pads. All Girodisc rotors purchased from FrozenRotors.com are cryogenically treated to maximize brake rotor life. Once installed, only the cast iron rotor ring needs to be replaced when necessary.
