2-Piece Slotted Floating Brake Rotor

The Paragon 2-piece front rotors are engineered for demanding HPDE, track, and race applications, offering significant improvements in braking performance and heat management over stock components. The CM-250 special formulated high carbon alloy cast iron rotor rings are heat-treated and finished with state-of-the-art CBN surface machining for optimal bite, thermal characteristics, and durability. The fully-floating 2-piece design allows for thermal expansion without rotor deformation and ensures self-centering with the pads. The slotted friction face provides consistent braking, clears gases and heat, and offers superior performance in wet weather compared to blank rotors. This design also contributes to reduced brake fade and judder during extended track sessions. Constructed with 6061-T6 aerospace grade aluminum hats, CNC machined for high strength and minimal weight, these hats are Mil-spec Type III black hardcoat/hard anodized for increased resistance to wear and corrosion. The rotor lateral run-out is maintained within 0.03mm and balance within 2 grams for reduced vibration. These rotors weigh 20.5 lbs (9.3 kg) each, saving 4 lbs of unsprung weight per rotor compared to OEM. These are a direct bolt-on replacement for the OEM Honda part numbers 45251-TGH-A01 and 45251-TV8-E02, designed to work seamlessly with original Brembo calipers, ABS, and factory brake bias. They are compatible with OEM or aftermarket brake pads of the same depth. The product includes one pair of pre-assembled rotor assemblies with black hard coat/hard anodized aluminum hats, stainless steel bobbins, and anti-rattle clips, along with a detailed installation manual. They are specifically designed for the 10th Gen Honda Civic Type-R, 11th Gen Honda Civic Type-R, 5th Gen Acura Integra Type-S, and 6th Gen Honda Prelude.
