The kit features 4-piston calipers, constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength and resistance to corrosion. These calipers are equipped with aluminum pistons, which enhance heat resistance and maintain reliable operation. The included SC5 Street Pads (NAOC Ceramic) are optimized for street use and occasional track days, offering a 50% reduction in brake dust compared to race pads, along with minimized noise and rotor wear. These pads operate effectively between 194°F and 1022°F. The kit includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent line expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Caliper brackets are CNC machined from carbon steel, allowing the larger Ksport calipers to bolt directly to the OEM caliper bracket location. Customization options for caliper finish are available, including standard colors like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, with premium upgrades to Silver, Gold, Titanium, and various anodized colors. The kit is available with either slotted or cross-drilled rotors; slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily driven vehicles due to better cooling.
