2-Piece Vented Rotor Big Brake Kit

The kit features robust, 1-piece aircraft-grade aluminum calipers, chosen for their lightweight properties, exceptional strength, and resistance to corrosion. These calipers house aluminum pistons, which further enhance heat resistance and maintain uncompromised operation even under demanding use. The opposed-piston design is crucial for improving pad grip and minimizing uneven wear, ensuring consistent performance. The braking system incorporates 2-piece vented rotors constructed from cast iron, featuring a drilled surface for improved heat dissipation and performance. The 2-piece design, which includes an aluminum center hat, contributes to lower rotational mass, leading to quicker braking response and shorter stopping distances. This design also significantly reduces the chance of rotor warpage by allowing for more unrestricted expansion and contraction of the outer iron section. Reinforced carbon steel caliper brackets are included to allow these larger-than-OEM calipers to bolt directly onto the existing mounting points without requiring modifications. For enhanced pedal feel and response, the kit includes stainless steel brake lines. These lines prevent expansion under high temperatures and pressures, translating to a more immediate and consistent braking feel at the pedal.
