The calipers also incorporate aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance and maintain uncompromised operation. It includes two-piece, 286mm slotted rotors that provide lightweight, fade-free performance and effective grip for both track use and comfortable daily driving. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street NAOC Ceramic pads, which deliver optimal braking performance for street and occasional track conditions. These pads are formulated to reduce brake dust by over 50% compared to race pads and minimize noise and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included, which prevent hose expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Ksport's carbon steel caliper brackets are CNC machined to ensure the larger calipers bolt directly to the OEM caliper bracket location.
