This 2-point weight distribution hitch features a standard coupler hitch head and a 6-hole shank. It's designed for trailers with a tongue weight of up to 1200 lbs and a gross towing weight of up to 12000 lbs. The hitch is compatible with a 2-inch receiver and comes with a pre-installed 2-5/16" ball. It effectively distributes weight over the axles of both the tow vehicle and the trailer, and its steel-on-steel friction system minimizes sway. The round spring bars flex for a controlled ride, while rigid L-brackets keep them securely in place. The clamp-on brackets allow for backing up without disconnecting. Constructed from steel with a powder coat over e-coat finish for durability.
