The Ultra Racing UR-TW2-1858 is a 2-point front strut bar designed to improve a vehicle's handling and stability. It bolts across the top of the engine to the suspension posts, creating a more rigid front suspension setup with virtually no movement between the sides.

During cornering, chassis flex can lead to unstable handling, increased body roll, and loss of tire grip. By adding this brace, the forces are spread out, stabilizing the car and providing more solid handling.

The Ultra Racing UR-TW2-1858 is a 2-point front strut bar, also known as a Front Tower Bar or Tower Brace. When cornering, braking, or accelerating, the vehicle's chassis naturally twists and flexes. This flex can lead to negative handling traits such as understeer and oversteer, reduced tire grip, and increased body roll. The UR-TW2-1858 addresses this by bolting across the top of the engine bay to the suspension towers, creating a direct physical link that enhances the rigidity of the front suspension setup. This results in virtually no unwanted movement between the suspension sides, leading to a more stable and predictable driving experience. It uses original mounting points, typically incorporating original nuts and bolts. This strut bar is specifically designed for the Volkswagen Beetle (A5) 1.4T from 2011 onwards, and also fits certain Passat models (B6/B7 2.0 TFSI/TSI 2005-2015, 2WD). It is noted that this part will not work with the wagon variant of the Passat.
