Description

The Ultra Racing Front Upper Strut Brace (UR-TW2-4313) is engineered to enhance vehicle rigidity and handling performance. The chassis of a car is subjected to significant stress from weight transfer during dynamic driving maneuvers like fast cornering, hard braking, or acceleration. This stress can cause the vehicle body to flex and twist, leading to a loss of tire grip and negative handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer. The hollow steel tubes and oval tubes are between 1.2mm and 1.6mm in thickness. It works by reducing flex in the suspension mounting points, thereby helping to maintain precise suspension geometry and improve overall vehicle stability. The installation of such braces can lead to significant improvements in chassis stiffness, steering feedback, road handling, and can potentially reduce tire wear. The brace also adds an aesthetic element under the hood.
