The Ultra Racing 2-Point Rear Lower Bar is engineered to directly address chassis flex experienced by the vehicle. During dynamic driving maneuvers like fast cornering, hard braking, or aggressive acceleration, the car's chassis undergoes considerable stress. This stress, particularly the uneven weight transfer that can put up to three times more force on one side of the vehicle than the other, causes the chassis to flex, deform, and twist. Such deformities can result in a loss of tire grip and manifest as undesirable handling characteristics, including understeer and oversteer. By reinforcing the chassis, the bar helps to minimize unwanted twisting and flexing. This improved structural integrity allows the vehicle's suspension system to perform more effectively, leading to better overall handling, stability, and tire contact with the road. This specific rear lower bar is designed for the Land Rover Freelander 2 (L359) with the 2.2D 2WD engine, model years 2006-2014. It is a direct-fit component, intended to integrate with the existing chassis structure.
