Description

The Ultra Racing 2-point rear torsion bar is engineered to combat chassis flex and body deformity that occurs during dynamic driving maneuvers such as aggressive cornering, braking, and acceleration. The significant weight transfer experienced during these actions can cause one side of the vehicle to bear considerably more force than the other, leading to chassis distortion and a loss of tire traction. This twisting and flexing of the chassis can negatively impact handling, resulting in undesirable traits like understeer and oversteer. This specific torsion bar functions as a rear frame brace, locking the rear subframe to the main body of the car. By doing so, it effectively eliminates twist and flex in the chassis during cornering. The 2-point design ensures focused reinforcement where it's most needed. This Ultra Racing rear torsion bar is designed for the Renault Samsung SM5 (L43) with 1.6T/2.0 FL engines from 2015 onwards, as well as the SM7 2.5 models from 2011 to 2019.
