2-Point Tubular Bolt-In Subframe Connector

The UMI Performance 1052 subframe connectors are a 2-point tubular, bolt-in chassis brace engineered to improve the handling and rigidity of the 2005-2014 Ford Mustang. Constructed from robust 1.750" x 0.120" DOM mild steel tubing and MIG welded for superior strength, these connectors tie the front and rear subframes together. The design prioritizes a tight fit against the vehicle's undercarriage, minimizing intrusion to ground clearance. Installation is straightforward with a 100% bolt-in design that does not require welding. The connectors utilize the rear control arm mount for added strength and ensure proper alignment. Mounting plates are CNC machined from 3/16" thick mild steel. These subframe connectors are beneficial for reducing chassis flex, increasing overall rigidity, and enhancing traction during high torque situations, making them ideal for autocross, road racing, and drag racing applications. The subframe connectors come with a durable powder coat finish available in red or black. They are proudly designed and manufactured in the USA using North American raw materials and feature precision welds for consistent quality. This product fits the 2005-2014 Ford Mustang S197 chassis. Importantly, these subframe connectors do not fit convertible models.
