2" Rear Shock Absorber

The BDS Suspension 98224660x2 Fox 2.0 Performance Rear Shocks are engineered as direct, high-performance replacements specifically for BDS suspension systems. Constructed with a cold-forged, metal-impacted 6061 T6 aluminum shock body, these units dissipate heat effectively, allowing them to perform comparably to a 2.5-diameter shock. The tough finish includes CNC-machined aluminum components and heavy-duty 5/8" chrome shafts that are induction case hardened to over 55 Rockwell C to resist scratches from debris. A key feature is the Internal Floating Piston (IFP) design, which separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen gas chamber. This separation prevents oil aeration and cavitation, providing a predictable ride and fade-free performance even under harsh conditions. The shocks are custom-valved by Fox and BDS for each specific application to ensure perfect integration with BDS suspension systems.
