The CSF High-Performance All-Aluminum Radiator (CSF #7213) is engineered for the 6th Gen Subaru Outback and Legacy models equipped with the 2.5L (FB25) engine. The demanding nature of these activities, involving steep inclines, additional gear weight, and traction loss, places extra strain on the engine, which the factory radiator may struggle to manage. At its core, this radiator features a 42mm, 2-row aluminum design that not only increases coolant capacity but also substantially improves heat dissipation. CSF's proprietary B-Tube Technology is integrated to boost heat transfer efficiency by an estimated 15% over conventional tubes. Complementing this is a fin design with 6.5mm tall, ultra-efficient, multi-louvered fins that maximize surface area for superior airflow and cooling, crucial for maintaining optimal engine temperatures, especially at lower vehicle speeds where fan cooling is paramount. Construction is robust, utilizing 100% all-aluminum TIG-welded techniques for both the core and the end tanks, which are precision-machined for enhanced strength and to prevent the common failure points associated with OEM crimped plastic designs.
