The Rockford Fosgate DEFEND17-STG1 is a complete, all-in-one audio solution specifically engineered for select 2017 and newer Can-Am Defender 2-door and 4-door models. This 50-watt amplified system boasts two 5.25-inch high-output speakers and a PMX-1 multimedia source unit, delivering an enhanced audio experience for your off-road adventures. Designed for simplicity, the DEFEND17-STG1 features a plug-and-play installation that requires no drilling or cutting. It seamlessly integrates with factory windshields and headliners, and electrical connections are keyed for easy hookup. The system is also Element Ready™, meaning it's built to withstand the rigors of outdoor environments, including dust, water, salt, and UV exposure, ensuring durability and longevity. Key features include Bluetooth connectivity for wireless audio streaming, an AM/FM/WB tuner, and a 7-band graphic EQ with PEQ. The PMX-1 source unit also includes a voltage gauge with a low voltage warning and is compatible with the Rockford Fosgate RF Connect™ app for control. Compatibility is extensive, covering numerous 2-door and 4-seat Defender models from 2017 through 2025. However, it is crucial to review the detailed compatibility chart to ensure this system is the correct fit for your specific Can-Am Defender trim and year. Some models, like the Defender MAX Lone Star CAB in 2025, may not be compatible.
