2-Terminal Pressure Switch

The Murray 36676 is a system-mounted cycling pressure switch designed to maintain optimal performance and reliability in your vehicle's A/C system. This switch meets or exceeds OEM standards and features a durable zinc coating for corrosion resistance. Its color-coded design aids in easy identification during installation. This pressure switch has a rectangular connector shape, two blade terminals, and a female fitting with a 7/16 in. x 20 thread size. It operates on a 12-volt system with a 10-amp rating and is compatible with R134a refrigerant. The switch is designed to cycle the A/C compressor, opening at 47 psi and closing at 26 psi. It includes necessary gaskets, o-rings, or seals for proper installation, ensuring a hassle-free replacement. This switch is specifically designed for a wide range of Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, and Mazda models from 1980 to 1993. Specific fitment includes, but is not limited to, 1980-1993 Ford Bronco, 1980-1993 Ford F-150, 1983-1993 Ford Mustang, 1986-1993 Ford Aerostar, and 1982-1993 Lincoln Town Car, all noted as requiring the pressure switch with R134a refrigerant. Some models, like the 1990-1993 Ford Taurus, may also fit with retrofit.
