2-Way Coaxial Speaker

The DS18 G4.6Xi GEN-X Coaxial Series speakers are built with an extremely durable steel basket designed to outlast the vehicle they are installed in, making them a reliable choice for car audio systems. These 4x6" speakers are engineered for amplifiers but can also be used in factory settings with 4-ohm factory amplifiers, offering improved sound and clarity over OEM speakers. The 2-way design incorporates a woofer and a Mylar balanced dome tweeter, each responsible for reproducing specific frequency ranges for a more accurate and full-sounding audio experience. This design also means the speakers do not require a large power input. They offer a broad frequency response from 45Hz up to 20KHz, with a recommended HI pass crossover of 80Hz. With a nominal impedance of 4 Ohms, the G4.6Xi speakers have an RMS Power Handling of 45W and a MAX Power Handling of 135W, allowing them to get loud easily. The treated paper cones and rubber surrounds contribute to their great volume and sensitivity. These speakers are plate-mounted and feature multiple mounting holes to accommodate various factory placements. Please note that no grill is included with this speaker.
