The JL Audio C1-690 is a 2-way component speaker system designed to provide enhanced audio performance in a form factor optimized for installation behind factory grilles. This system features a 6 x 9-inch woofer and a separate 1-inch edge-driven aluminum dome tweeter for improved high-frequency clarity.

Built for versatility, the set includes spacer and adapter rings for various mounting needs, alongside dedicated hardware for flush or surface-mounting the tweeters. The woofers utilize a mineral-filled polypropylene cone and a DMA-optimized motor system to deliver dynamic sound with low distortion.
