The JL Audio C5-650 is a 6.5-inch, 2-way component speaker system engineered for exceptional audio refinement and dynamic capability in a vehicle. This system pairs advanced component woofers with high-end silk dome tweeters to deliver smooth, extended sound reproduction, both on and off axis. The woofers utilize die-cast alloy baskets and Kurt Müller cones and suspensions, benefiting from JL Audio's extensive design experience. The 0.75-inch silk dome tweeters are designed for crisp, clear highs. The system is rated for 75W RMS power handling (225W peak) and operates at a 4-ohm impedance, with a system efficiency of 89.5 dB @ 1W/1m. Installation flexibility is provided through included flush-mounting and surface-mounting fixtures. The flush-mount system features JL Audio's RSR (Ratcheting Swivel Rotation) mechanism for precise tweeter aiming. The compact crossover networks are constructed with premium components like Mylar® capacitors and segmented air-core inductors, offering extensive voicing customization with four levels of tweeter attenuation and three levels of mid-range presence adjustment, resulting in twelve possible combinations. Woofer grilles are also included, featuring a black grille tray and a black steel mesh grille with an electroformed JL Audio logo. This system is sold as a pair and is intended to upgrade your vehicle's audio experience.
