The Focal IS TOY 165 is a 2-way component speaker system specifically engineered as a direct upgrade for select Toyota, Lexus, and Subaru models. Designed for seamless integration, these speakers offer easy installation with no wire cutting or modifications needed, ensuring 100% compatibility with original vehicle connectors. The system utilizes Focal's exclusive Polyglass technology for the woofer cone, which applies fine glass microbeads to a cellulose pulp for a combination of damping and rigidity, resulting in well-defined mids and a linear frequency response. This patented Focal design offers low directivity and uses a small, lightweight voice coil for improved acceleration. The aluminum material increases rigidity and reduces distortion, while magnesium provides excellent damping.
