Overview

The Kooks 21612601 is a set of 2" long tube headers constructed from 304 stainless steel with a natural finish. These headers feature 2" primary tube diameter and a 3" collector diameter, with round port style. They include O2 bungs and come with the necessary hardware and gaskets for installation.

The Kooks 2" x 3" Stainless Steel Long Tube Headers are specifically engineered for the 2006-2013 Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06 models equipped with the 6.2L LS9 engine, as well as the ZR1 models with the 7.0L LS7 engine. These headers are constructed from durable stainless steel and incorporate a revised design featuring Torca Swivel-Seal connections to enhance ease of installation. Included hardware for installation comprises multi-layer stainless steel gaskets, a header bolt kit, swivel-seal clamps, an O2 extension harness kit, and a transmission cooler line relocation bracket. Important considerations apply to the use and installation of these headers. They are designated for closed course competition use only and are not intended for street use. Furthermore, their sale, use, or installation may be illegal nationwide under the Federal Clean Air Act. These headers do not connect directly to the OEM exhaust system and require the use of a Kooks X-Pipe. The product may also expose users to chemicals like Chromium and Nickel, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or reproductive harm. These headers are built to order in North Carolina with an estimated shipping window of 4-6 weeks. Optional Jet-Hot 1300 Degree Ceramic Coatings are available in various finishes, including Classic Polish (Silver), Satin Silver, Satin Black, and Flat Black, for an additional cost. Tumbling service is also offered for an extra fee.
