The Metra AX-LR20 is a 20-Ohm Universal Load Resistor Interface designed to solve common problems for installers. Factory audio systems may mute output if a speaker fails or is disconnected. This load resistor prevents such muting when adding aftermarket equipment. It uses specific values to maintain the best possible audio signal and stabilize the factory audio system's output.
