Show original supplier description
The MAPerformance 3.5-inch intercooler is a performance upgrade engineered specifically for the 2008-2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X. It addresses the airflow limitations found in factory components by utilizing a high-efficiency bar and plate core paired with CAD-designed, CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum end tanks. This construction provides a significant improvement in air distribution and cooling efficiency compared to traditional sheet metal or cast tank designs. Rated for applications up to 750hp, this intercooler is built to handle the demands of modified turbocharged engines. Each unit is pressure-tested to 35+ psi to ensure structural integrity and prevent boost leaks. The kit is designed as a direct bolt-in installation, replacing the factory unit without requiring complex modifications. Included in the box are the intercooler, black couplers, T-bolt clamps, and all necessary mounting hardware. The product is backed by a MAP Limited Lifetime Warranty.
