200-Amp Alternator

The PA Performance 1619HO alternator is a high-output 200-amp unit engineered to support electrical demands in 1987-1993 5.0L Mustangs. Featuring an internal voltage regulator and a factory-compatible pulley, this 16.4-pound unit delivers 100+ amps at 2000 alternator shaft RPM and 200+ amps at 6000 RPM. Installation requires minor modifications to the mounting brackets due to the increased size of the unit compared to stock Ford alternators. While the alternator is compatible with the factory serpentine belt setup, users must upgrade the main power wire to account for the increased output; an upgraded wiring kit is included to facilitate this, which can run directly to the starter for improved electric flow. Every unit is tested prior to sale to ensure reliability and performance. This alternator can also be used for universal applications where high-capacity charging is required.
