Description

The SR Performance 200 Amp Alternator (SR1704HO) is a 100% new, not rebuilt, unit designed to significantly increase your Mustang's charging capacity. It delivers 100+ amps at idle and 200+ amps at maximum output, making it ideal for vehicles with extensive electrical modifications. This 3G Series alternator comes complete with an internal voltage regulator and pulley. Installation is a direct fit replacement with minor mounting bracket modifications required for fitment in 1994-1995 GT and 1994-2000 V6 Mustang models. The stock belt can be used on original equipment vehicles. Please note that an upgrade to a Premium Power 4 Gauge Wire Kit is required to properly utilize the higher charging capacities of this alternator, as the OEM wiring is not designed for such output. This alternator is designed to fit 1994-1995 GT and 1994-2000 V6 Ford Mustang models.
