The Milltek SSXM450 is a large bore downpipe and hi-flow sports catalytic converter, featuring a 200-cell high-flow sports cat and a 76.2mm (3-inch) pipe diameter. Crafted from aerospace-grade T304L stainless steel, the SSXM450 is built for exceptional durability and resistance to extreme environments, ensuring a long lifespan. Milltek utilizes mandrel bending techniques for constant radius bends, optimizing gas flow and increasing bore diameters over stock to maximize performance without sacrificing mid-range torque. This downpipe and high-flow sports cat assembly is manufactured in England and requires a Stage 2 ECU software remap for optimal performance. It is important to note that de-cat and sports cat components are intended for off-road or motorsport use only and may inhibit a vehicle from passing a MOT test. Only EC type-approved components are legal for road use. The Milltek SSXM450 is compatible with specific Mini models: New Mini Mk3 (F55) Cooper S 2.0 Turbo (UK and European models) and Mk3 (F56) Cooper S 2.0 Turbo (UK and European models), specifically LCI models equipped with GPF/OPF, from model years 2019-2021.
